The Mangun Dharma Art Center is located in Tumpang, 23 km to the east of Malang in East Java. Surabaya has the nearest airport (a 45 min flight from Denpasar, Bali). From Surabaya it is a 2 hour drive to Malang by bus or car and another 30 min to Tumpang. Public transport from Surabaya to Malang arrives at the terminal in Arjosari where you can change buses and go on to Tumpang. There you can ask for the "Padepokan Seni Mangun Dharma" which everbody will know.

You can pass by the Art Center on your way to famous Mount Bromo. Accommodation is available 800 meters to the south of the Mangun Dharma Art Center at the Gunung Tabor Hotel and Retreat.
